Pharmacy Technicians assist pharmacists in the dispensing of prescription medications to patients or health care professionals. They interpret prescriptions, perform pharmacy calculations, entry prescription information and patient information into computers, measure, package, and label prescriptions, work inventory, submit third party (insurance) billing, and provide customer service.
